The 2025 Gabe Crashout, also known as the Gabe Deluxe Upgrade, is a canon event that took place on Rano's Star Observatory on May 3, 2025, that ultimately ended in Gabe being removed from the Star Observatory.

Prelude

Gabe was a chronically online, porn-addicted furry who had fallen into a deep, dark hole of unhealthy porn consumption before meeting Rano. Rano had helped Gabe get over his addiction and become a functioning member of society again – among other things by helping him also get away from Nick.

As a result, Rano and Gabe started to date as he was genuinely making a turn for the better.

Showdown

On May 3, 2025, Rano received a series of screenshots documenting a Discord conversation between Gabe and several mutual friends. These images captured a private group chat exchange that, while technically consensual among adults (all parties involved being 18 years or older at the time), struck a deeply personal nerve for Rano. The content of the messages echoed behaviors and themes that Gabe had exhibited in 2020—an earlier period marked by immaturity and a disregard for boundaries that had since become a sore spot in Rano's memory.
