Aki

Aki, previously known as Schmusemiez (en. lit. ‘cuddling cat’), or simply just Schmu, is a deer furry, active member of Rano's Star Observatory, and freedom fighter of the Rano's Star Observatory Deer Liberation Group (RSODLG). He is known for his always happy and positive attitude toward his friends and strangers alike, and his striking opening blow against the Wek forces at Mt. Fur during the legendary battle of the 4th Deer Squadron in the Star theatre.

The Watermelon Deer (fursona)

Aki is an anthropomorphic deer character known as "The Watermelon Deer" due to his distinct colour palette and markings reminiscent of the fruit. With a design rooted in whimsy and visual sweetness, Aki blends natural deer features with a stylized, playful aesthetic. His unique heterochromia, glitter-like fur texture, and soft appearance make him stand out as a comforting yet visually striking character.

Physical Appearance

Aki’s body features a deep pinkish-red base fur colour, complemented by creamy stripes and a white belly patch. His fur is described as “sparkly,” with white freckles that resemble watermelon seeds, particularly concentrated on his arms and shoulders. The design gives him a fruity, summer-themed aesthetic.

His legs have ring-shaped markings around the thighs and ankles, and his ankles are covered with longer, shaggier fur. His arms end in clawed hands with dark, paw-like fingers, giving him a more expressive, cartoony appeal.

Aki’s tail is short and fluffy, with a darker base and a white tip. His ears are large, pointy, and fur-lined, with tufts of long fur on the inside.

Facial Features and Hair

Aki’s hair is black, tousled, and medium-length, falling around his face in soft waves. His eyes exhibit heterochromia, with one eye red and the other blue—both vivid and reflective, giving him a unique, dual-coloured gaze. He has flat herbivore teeth, indicating a gentle, non-threatening demeanour.
