Aru Sterling, or simply Aru, is an active member of Rano's Star Observatory, brain-rot victim, and deer-in-training. He is good friends with The Fake Zodiac, Aki and, Aster, with whom he often plays Marvel Rivals, Fortnite, or other titles. He is also the son of Rano Sterling and Selm; he is the nephew of Aki and Aster. Aru is often afraid of adding games to his Steam wish list due to previous trauma with unconsensual gifting. Whenever Aki and Aru are in a voice chat and a music stream from Aki is active, Aru's game sense will increase by circa 170%.

Aru Sterling is a charming and youthful grey fox character with clear visual ties to his father, Rano Sterling. He carries a playful, soft energy with expressive features and a light-hearted appeal. Aru embodies the next generation of celestial or magical fox lineage, inheriting his father’s vivid coloration and whimsical spirit, but with a distinctly more innocent and approachable tone.
Aru shares many visual traits with Rano, including the iconic orange, grey, and white fur palette. His fur is fluffy and well-kept, with soft gradients and high contrast—orange on the sides of his face and shoulders, white along the chest and muzzle, and light grey cheek markings. His ears are large and expressive, with white interiors and black outlines.
His left eye is a bright green, large and youthful, set in a rounded face. He has fluffy, side-swept bangs similar to Rano’s, with orange and white streaks suggesting inherited style. Like his father, he has a black star-shaped marking on his chest—potentially a family symbol or magical emblem.
